It is designed so that the pH measurement electrode and the reference electrode are integrated in the same probe<\/li>\n<li>Ease of handling<\/li>\n<li>Smaller size<\/li>\n<li>Combination glass pH electrode, 12 mm.<\/li>\n<li>Ag\/AgCl reference sealed with ceramic join.<\/li>\n<li>Single Join Reference Design (1X)<\/li>\n<li>Standard cap, 3 m cable and BNC connector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Maintain irrigation water within a reference pH value.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To measure the pH of water, a <strong>scale from 0 to 14<\/strong> is used, in which 7.0 is considered the neutral measurement. Thus, measurements above 7.0 and up to 14.0 indicate that the solutions are base or alkaline solutions. However, they are considered acidic when the pH is below 7.0. The recommended pH for irrigation is between 5.5 and 6.5. The acidity of the water directly influences the plants&#8217; ability <strong>to assimilate nutrients.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Water with pH that is too high<\/strong> (above 6.5) causes the plant to not be able to absorb the nutrients correctly, since they become insoluble and are retained in the soil<\/li>\n<li><strong>pH that is too low<\/strong> (considered very acidic water) can cause problems for plants such as damaging their roots due to acidity, toxicity in the soil and preventing the plant from absorbing nutrients efficiently by dissolving and filtering very quickly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>pH probe calibration<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect the pH probe to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maherelectronica.com\/accesorios-para-programador\/transmisor-sondas-maher-trm03\/\">Maher Probe Transmitter<\/a> for data transmission to the irrigation controller. Thanks to this device, the irrigation controller can interpret and act according to the data received.<\/li>\n<li>The probe can be calibrated very easily and quickly from the Probe Transmitter. For this, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maherelectronica.com\/en\/calibration-solutions\/\">pH 7.01 and calibration solution 4.01<\/a> is
