AUTO-VENTILATED AIR TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY SENSOR

This air temperature and humidity sensor measures relative humidity and environmental temperature using highly accurate sensors.

The self-ventilated model recirculates air, thus preventing heat build-up inside. This provides greater precision in the measurements.

For healthy crops, it is very important that the environmental humidity does not reach extreme values. Very high humidity favors pest and disease transmission, while low humidity can stress the plant.

Contact 1 – (V+) 15-30 Vdc probe power.

Contact 2 – (HR) Output signal to the Relative Humidity controller

Contact 3 – (Tª) Output signal to the Temperature controller

Contact 4 – (∼) Power in Alternating Current at 24 Vac for the fan

Contact 5 – (∼) Power in Alternating Current at 0 Vac for the fan

Environmental temperature control is also vital for plant condition. Ensure that the value is between certain values that vary according to the cycle the crop is in. To control it, heaters can optionally be installed, ventilating by opening windows or fans…

Connecting this air temperature and humidity sensor with a climate controller enables control of air temperature and humidity in a greenhouse, farm, cellar or dryer.
